PULS Quality
For the team at PULS, quality means designing and manufacturing outstanding products and services that meet the needs of our customers. What´s more, it means developing a friendly and professional relationship with all our internal and external partners.
The interface and procedures between the individual business processes at PULS are described in a process-oriented 'Management System'.
This management system is constructed and implemented in a matrix form across all PULS sites, including the production sites in the
Quality in Sales
Experienced sales engineers work hand-in-hand with customers to understand their problems and suggest optimum solutions. This forms the basis for a long-term relationship and contributes to the success of our customers. Short communication routes save a great deal of time and money, and avoid misunderstandings.
Quality in Production
Every power supply is subjected to a multi-stage test procedure before being delivered to the customer. The soldering quality of every circuit board is checked visually in accordance with the international standard (IPC A 610). Later in the process, every circuit board is subjected to an in-circuit test using the latest equipment to rule out any possibility of faulty components being present.
After manufacturing, every power supply is given a high-voltage test to ensure the highest possible standards of safety. To guard against premature failure every power supply is subjected to endurance testing under extreme conditions to identify any weakness in its components or manufacture.
Finally, all important parameters of every power supply unit are subjected to a function test and the results documented.
Quality in Purchasing
In co-operation with our partners, we operate within a strict qualification system for components and suppliers. In this way both the technological and logistical advantages of the market are utilized.
Quality in Development
The implementation of outstanding products calls for new ground to be broken and at PULS the latest technologies and methods are used to support the development process. So that any possible risks can be detected at an early stage and be dealt with before the main production begins, a FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) is carried out for every new project. This analysis looks at the mechanical design (which is performed using a 3-D CAD system) and at the circuit technology. The engineering and construction are checked using the very latest thermal and circuit simulations. Ongoing tests that accompany development work are examined from every angle in a comprehensive design verification process within the company's own test laboratory.
3 Year Warranty
All PULS units (except batteries) have a 3 year warranty. The warranty is valid for all products worldwide. With PULS, reliability, robustness and longevity come as standard.
